When installing the software TwingateWindowInstaller.exe into the install process - what is msied.tmp, looks like a temp file. Is it started from another process/install? Our security blocks this from happening unless I add it to the safe list so just wanted to know it’s purpose in the install.

You are right. This is just an install file for windows. I do not get the same file, but similarly named files when I install. If I uninstall and reinstall I get similarly named files again.
