Project Context: I’m exploring options to install the Twingate option on a wifi modem for traveling. Whenever I connect to the traveling modem, automatically connect back to home Internet.
Video from YouTube:
Similar concept, but don’t want to use the NordVPN option instead of that want to use twingate option.
I am already using AmpliFi Teleport option, but the Internet runs slow.
- Inquired if there’s a way to install Twingate on any wifi modem for travel purposes.
- Arthur from Twingate suggested that achieving this would depend on the device’s capability to run a sufficiently featured version of Linux to run a docker container.
- Arthur later mentioned a possible solution involving a custom router/wifi device built from a small form factor PC. They will have a guide for this, but it’s still upcoming.
- Recently, Arthur informed that the team wouldn’t be able to assist but advised posting on the forum for potential help from industry peers.
If anyone has insights or solutions for this, your help would be appreciated!
