On Ubuntu 18.04, I’m trying to update the Twingate connector from 1.41 to 1.54. I’m following the instructions here, but it apt refuses to update it, saying 1.41 is the latest version.
Hmm. I just checked and here is what I get:
twingate-connector is already the newest version (1.54.0).
I checked on Raspbian however. Can you try again?
Did you make sure to apt update?
Yes, we ran apt update. Some machines seem to correctly respond to apt update while others seem to just be stuck in whatever version they already have. So, on some, we’re unable to update beyond 1.40 and on some beyond 1.41, etc.
I am asking the team if there is anything causing this on our side.
I am going to create an ubuntu VM on 18.04 as well as see what I can do there.
I was able to install a v1.54 connector on ubuntu 18.04.
I saw no issues. I can see 1.54 in the repo from the machine as well. I am not sure what could be causing the issue on your machines.
I have also verified with the product team that there is nothing preventing you from using 1.54 on 18.04.
