Hi Think I Did the setup and am Connected to my Synology NAS on my Mac… Now… Hoe do I access my files in Finder, Can I map a Drive?
Hi IanduPlessis it is possible to map a drive in macOS. Once you are in Finder just click on the Go menu and select Connect to Server… Once you are in the dialog box the method to access is in the format of protocol://<IP_ADDRESS>/path_to_folder or protocol://<HOSTNAME>/path_to_folder an example would look like thissmb://192.168.1.11/shared
It will most likely pop up a dialog for credentials and after that you should have the drive in the left hand navigation of Finder.
