Connector installation behind http/https proxy

Hi,
I’m trying to install a Twingate connector in a linux (ubuntu) machine in my company.

The machine can only start outgoing http/https connections via a proxy.

At the moment when I start the connector I get the following error, which is clearly because the http proxy is blocking the request:

Nov 22 17:56:49 eslcicd twingate-connector[1114141]: [WARN] [libsdwan] http::request::handle_response: GET "

Nov 22 17:56:49 eslcicd twingate-connector[1114141]: [DEBUG] [libsdwan] [controller] set_state: switching from "Getting public keys" to "Error"

Is there a way to configure http/https proxy variables for the connector?

Hi @irizzant,

I don’t think this is possible today. Could you share more about your use case for this?

Hi @Bren
my company is evaluating Twingate and we’d like to install Twingate connector in our corporate network.

The network doesn’t allow outgoing http/https connections unless they pass through an http/https proxy.

This is a common security requirement and I’m wondering how to set this up with Twingate connector

Hi @irizzant,

Unfortunately, I don’t believe this is currently possible. I have passed the ask to our Product team.
